Special festive sketches from Christmas Night With The Stars (1968 & 1970). Poles Apart*: GHQ have come up with an idea of using telegraph poles as a means of exercise and Mainwaring runs through the instructions with his men and as usual, forgets the age of some of them, especially when he shouts 'jump' to the aged Private Godfrey. The Cornish Floral Dance: The platoon, ARP and the local WRVS congregate in the church hall to rehearse for a performance of 1911 song The Cornish Floral Dance.
